Visa Application Tips

Most international visitors traveling to China for tourism, business or academic conference participation are required to apply for a visa in advance, except those eligible for China’s unilateral visa‑free entry policy. Standard application materials include a valid passport, completed application form, recent ID photo, round‑trip flight tickets and travel arrangements, as required by Chinese embassies and consulates overseas.

It is recommended that you check the latest visa‑free entry rules issued by China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Immigration Administration before planning your trip .

How to apply for a China visa?
  1. Step 1: Prepare a passport valid for no less than six months with blank visa pages, a fully typed visa application form, official conference invitation letter, round‑trip air tickets and hotel reservation confirmations.
  2. Step 2: Book an appointment at the Chinese Embassy, Consulate or Chinese Visa Application Service Center (CVASC), and submit all required documents on the scheduled date.
  3. Step 3: Pay the visa fee and collect your passport with the issued visa. Standard processing normally takes four working days; expedited same‑day service is available for urgent cases.

Attendees from visa‑free eligible countries may enter China without a visa for conference‑related activities within a 30‑day stay period.

Invitation Letter

Important information regarding invitation letters (please read carefully):

  • Official invitation letters will be issued only upon successful conference registration.
  • Your full name shown on the invitation letter must be identical to that printed in your passport. Any discrepancy may result in visa delays or rejection.
  • Please note that 6GCTT Conference and its organizing committee are only authorized to provide official invitation documents. We cannot intervene in or appeal against visa decisions made by Chinese government authorities, nor can we communicate with embassies or consulates on behalf of individual applicants.

As visa application procedures take time, please complete your conference registration as early as possible to ensure sufficient preparation time for your entry to China.

签证申请提示

前往中国参加学术会议、商务交流或旅游观光的外籍人员，除符合中国单方面免签入境政策的国家公民外，均需提前申请中国签证。签证申请基础材料包含有效护照、签证申请表、近期证件照、往返机票、行程安排等，具体以中国驻外使领馆要求为准。

出行前请及时查阅中国外交部、国家移民管理局发布的最新入境及免签政策，合理规划行程。

如何申请中国签证？
  1. 第一步： 准备有效期不少于6个月、具备空白签证页的护照，填写完整的机打签证申请表，同时准备会议官方邀请函、往返机票、酒店预订单等参会佐证材料。
  2. 第二步： 预约中国驻外大使馆、领事馆或中国签证申请服务中心（CVASC），按预约时间递交全套申请材料。
  3. 第三步： 缴纳签证费用，按回执时间领取贴签护照。常规办理时长为4个工作日，紧急情况可申请当日加急出签。

符合2027年免签条件的外籍参会人员，可在30天停留期限内免办签证直接入境参会。

邀请信（中文）

关于会议邀请信的重要说明（请仔细阅读）：

  • 会议官方邀请信仅在参会者完成正式注册后予以发放。
  • 邀请信上的姓名必须与护照登记姓名完全一致，姓名不一致将直接导致签证延误或拒签。
  • 6GCTT会议及组委会仅负责出具会议邀请文件，无权干预中国官方签证审批结果，也不会代为与使领馆、外交部门沟通交涉。

签证审批周期较长，请务必尽早完成会议注册，预留充足时间办理入境相关手续。
